The Downtowner Boutique Hotel is looking for a hands-on Bar Manager to lead our lobby bar in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. This role is ideal for someone who can create a great guest experience while keeping the operation organized, accountable, properly stocked, and financially responsible. 

WHAT YOU WILL OWN Daily bar operations, cleanliness, organization, opening/closing standards, and overall guest experience  Bar scheduling, shift coverage, attendance, training, coaching, and staff accountability  Liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supply inventory; par levels and ordering needs  Beverage cost, waste, spills, comps, voids, over-pouring, and inventory variance control  POS accuracy, cash-handling procedures, promotions, pricing, and proper menu button usage  Consistent cocktail recipes, portion standards, product rotation, labeling, and storage  Guest concerns, alcohol-service compliance, ID verification, and coordination with hotel security  Drink specials, seasonal cocktails, hotel events, and ideas that increase bar revenue and guest engagement 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR  Previous bartending experience required; supervisory or bar management experience strongly preferred  Strong understanding of inventory control, beverage cost, waste prevention, and bar profitability  A leader who is organized, dependable, guest-focused, and comfortable holding a team accountable  Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business needs  Comfort working in a boutique hotel environment where managers stay visible, hands-on, and connected to the full property operation 

WHY THE DOWNTOWNER We are a non-gaming boutique hotel just steps from Fremont Street, with a 24/7 lobby bar, courtyard, six hole mini golf, pool, and a growing calendar of events and activations. We are looking for someone who wants to help build the bar - not simply maintain it. COMPENSATION $55,000 annually, depending on experience and final scope of responsibility.
